From Classroom to Enterprise: Teachers and Students from Guangzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College Conduct Immersive Practical Teaching at Vecell

On May 9, 2025, teachers and students majoring in Modern Logistics Management from Guangzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College visited Vecell, launching the first stop of school-enterprise cooperation in practical teaching! As a deep implementation of the model of “joint talent cultivation, resource sharing, technical co-research, and collaborative achievement creation,” students experienced Vecell’s independently developed intelligent logistics robot technology on-site, achieving a deep integration of theory and practice.

Exploring the First Stop Exhibition Hall: Immersive Touch in a Technological Setting
At the beginning of the visit, corporate tutor Yu Renchong led students into Vecell’s intelligent logistics exhibition hall. The first highlight was the intelligent palletizing and picking robot workstation, which immediately sparked waves of  among the students. The case-picking robot was steadily grabbing cartons at a consistent speed, and students quickly took out their phones to film the robotic arm’s movement trajectory. One student remarked, “This is so much more shocking than the model diagrams in textbooks!”
The 3D visual fusion technology combined with hybrid palletizing algorithms enables flexible adsorption and grabbing of multi-specification cargo boxes. The PID control and motion planning algorithms, integrated with collision detection sensors, real-time monitor the distance, with a positioning error of <1mm, demonstrating dual core capabilities of “adaptive grabbing + dynamic path optimization”. This system technology has been applied in the full-process robot picking operation for odd and loose boxes at the Zhongshan production base of a renowned seasoning enterprise, achieving a maximum daily picking efficiency of 30,000 boxes.
On – site Teaching: Decoding the Core Technologies of Logistics Robots
In the special teaching session, Teacher Yu, a corporate tutor from Vecell, took “Core Technologies and Scenario Applications of Logistics Robots” as the theme and carried out in – depth analysis combined with the benchmark cases seen in the exhibition hall, such as 3D visual recognition technology, dynamic path optimization algorithms, multi – machine collaborative control technology and so on. The students all said they benefited a lot.
Immersive Practice: Bridging Theory and Operation
After the teaching session, students participated in robot practice modules in groups, launching “technical challenges” on real equipment, with sparks of intellectual collision filling the scene. They experienced hands-on programming of collaborative robots, from parameter debugging to precise grabbing, and conducted trajectory programming for collaborative robots through manual guidance and automatic modes respectively. When experiencing how palletizing robots achieve precise grabbing of packages of different specifications, students gathered in front of the central control screen to compare the differences between actual operation data and theoretical models, and the formulas in their notebooks suddenly gained vivid annotations.
One student exclaimed, “Today, when I touched the ‘thinking’ robotic arm, I truly understood that ‘intelligent manufacturing’ in textbooks is a real existence that generates heat and moves!” — This is precisely the original intention of Vecell’s collaboration with Guangzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College: to connect classrooms with production lines and bring technology into reality.
School-Enterprise Collaboration: Two-Way Empowerment of Talent and Technology
This cooperation represents a key practice for Vecell to deepen the integration of industry and education. Relying on the talent cultivation advantages of Guangzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College in the field of intelligent manufacturing, the two parties will continue to deepen cooperation in technical R&D, talent cultivation, social services, and other areas, jointly creating a new benchmark for industry-education integration in the Greater Bay Area.
