Careful Planning and Step-by-step Implementation

The project team of Weixi’er Robot, in collaboration with multiple departments of Meiweixian, including the Equipment Management Department, Warehousing Department, Operations Department, and Information Technology Department, has conducted an in-depth inventory of the current situation of the entire chain of sales, production, warehousing, and logistics, and accurately analyzed the needs. Under complex circumstances, multiple implementation plans have been formulated. Through comprehensive evaluations of the overall logistics planning, technical feasibility, and other aspects, the optimal plan has been determined. Moreover, a step-by-step implementation strategy has been adopted to ensure the steady progress of the project.

Technological Innovation to Overcome Difficulties

The automatic picking project is a part with extremely high technical difficulty in the intelligent stereoscopic warehouse project. Independently planned and designed by Weixi’er Robot, it adopts a mixed-code picking system composed of industry-leading technologies such as the RCS control system, automatic hybrid palletizing robots, mobile handling robots, and AI + 3D visual guidance, overcoming multiple technical challenges. This system uses an independently developed and innovative hybrid palletizing algorithm. Combined with the application of the robot’s depalletizing and palletizing functions, it realizes fully automatic picking, greatly reducing the need for human labor and improving the accuracy of preparing goods for loading. The innovative design of the fixture is the first of its kind, breaking through the technical bottleneck of being able to handle multiple box types without changing the fixture, which improves the flexibility and versatility of the operation. The software system RCS serves as the control center of the picking system. By analyzing orders, it automatically calculates and generates the optimal mixed palletizing patterns and material scheduling tasks in advance, driving the mobile handling robots to deliver different SKU goods to the picking stations. The AI + 3D visual system guides the box picking robots to grasp cartons of different specifications and complete the mixed-code operation according to the requirements of the order palletizing patterns. After the palletizing of an order is completed, the order pallet is transported out of the palletizing station by an AGV.
