Through innovative breakthroughs in its technical architecture and its in-depth understanding and transformation of the modern logistics industry, the Weixi’er Robot has successfully helped Meiweixian achieve automatic picking in its intelligent stereoscopic warehouse. This project has achieved break through results in aspects such as automated picking technology and intelligent collaborative management, and has realized the transformation of the logistics model from “people searching for goods” to “goods finding people”. It provides practical references for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of discrete manufacturing enterprises.

Against the backdrop of digital transformation, the automated stereoscopic warehouse (AS/RS) has become the core infrastructure of the modern logistics system. The intelligent stereoscopic warehouse at the Meiweixian Zhongshan Base was put into operation in 2023. Its automatic picking system, by integrating robotics technology, intelligent algorithms, and the Internet of Things (IoT) architecture, has established a smart logistics system featuring full-process automation and informatization. This article conducts a systematic analysis of the project from three dimensions: technical logic, innovative applications, and industry value.

II. Core Technical Architecture and Technological Innovations
1. Composition of the Automated Picking System

The project employs the RCS intelligent control system independently developed by Weixi’er Robot, integrating devices such as 3D visual recognition, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and hybrid palletizing robots to construct a full-link automated process of “order receiving – path optimization – intelligent picking – automatic sorting”. Among them, the 3D visual recognition technology, through deep learning algorithms, can achieve real-time detection of the size, shape, and position of goods, with an error rate of less than 0.5mm, significantly improving the picking accuracy.

2. Technological Breakthroughs and Overcoming of Difficulties

– Multi-box Type Compatibility Technology: An innovative vacuum curtain layer picking fixture has been designed. Through a flexible adsorption structure, it can achieve compatible grasping of cargo boxes of different specifications, solving the technical bottleneck of the need for frequent replacement of traditional fixtures.

– Blind Lifting and Handling of Pallets: Aiming at the identification problem of barcodes pasted on the bottom of pallets, the AGV blind lifting and pallet handling technology has been developed. Through the integrated positioning of lidar and inertial navigation, accurate handling of unmarked pallets can be realized.

– Dynamic Path Optimization: Based on real-time order flow and storage location data, the ant colony algorithm is applied to dynamically plan the paths of AGVs, increasing the picking efficiency by more than 40%.
